Torrey Hills Fire

The fire started around noon on Sunday the 27th. It was burning on the other side of this hill - oh so close to us!!! My neighbors were all super relaxed while I took out my pictures & packed an overnight bag!! It ended up burning about 100 acres. They brought in helicopters that dropped water and the fixed wing huge planes that dropped red fire retardant stuff. Since no one was hurt and no houses burnt down, I can say... it was very cool to have a free air-show in the backyard. It was truly amazing how talented these pilots are. I am so thankful for how fast everyone responded to this!
